Sorprende sempre il molise quand lo si conosce e se ne scopronole antiche radici storiche che parlano di guerrieri fieri e indomiti quali erano i Sanniti Pentri. La terra molisana  ha tracce tramandate dalle civiltà che l’hanno segnata, quella dei Sanniti, dei Romani, quindi l’incontro con latri popoli quali i Longobardi che daranno origine al Contado di Molise e dei Normanni quando comincia ad affermarsi il toponimo Comitatus Molisii e si da’ identità a un territorio che l’avrebbe custodita nei secoli. Arrivando a Isernia, nel cuore del Pentro, avverti la suggestione che esprime una terra straordinariamente incontaminata dove si producono vini longevi dal gusto deciso, scanditi da un frutto vivo e ricco che fa piacevolmente sentire il carattere di una terra ancora da scoprire.    

The Molise region is surprising and in this ancient land you can discovr tales of the fierce, fearless Samnite Pentrite warriors. The territory carries strencht that it has inherited from civilisations that have left their mark; the Samnites, the Romans as well as the Lombards that give birth to the Contado di Molise, and the Normans when the toponym Comitatus Molisii began to establish itself and bequeathed an identity to a territory that would be preserved over the centuries. Arriving in Isernia, in the heart of the Pentro area, you are met with a territory that is at once rugged and generous, harsh and authentic and that has preserved traces of civilisation that has bestowed it with both power and strength of character. An extraordinarily uncontaminated terrain where wines are produced that are slow-maturing and therefore suitable for extensive aging, creating full-flavoured blends that have distinct flavours and aromas, an expression of this undiscovered and unadulterated territory.
