ESTATE The estate holdings include 5 single vineyards, each providing great diversity thus yielding wines that showcase their distinctive regional characteristics. These select parcels are designated to the harvesting of Tintilia, Montepulciano, Falanghina and Sangiovese varietals.
Colle Dei Limi A terrain that is historically suitable for different types of agriculture, more recently it has returned to hosting vines. Tintilia and Falanghina varietals grown at 560 m above sea level are able to exhibit very distinct flavours owing to its ideal topography. Vallone del Mulino A recent vineyard located at 560 m above sea level which houses the mountain Tintilia varietal. The indigenous grape variety expresses its unique characteristics and flourishes in this estate. Guado San Nicola The Guado San Nicola Estate has returned to its former glory after a long restoration. Built on the remains of a Roman Mausoleum, seven hectares of vineyards have been planted in a unique, historical, topographical and microclimatic context, whereby nature oversees the history, civilization and beauty of this uncontaminated territory.
Sant’Angelo A historical vineyard. The first plantation was lost in the midst of time: a first written record of the presence of the vine dates back to the first century BC. The current vineyard is approximately 70 years old, located at 350m above sea level and is surrounded by the Apennine and Mainarde ranges. Pianelle The Pianelle holding has returned to hosting a vineyard after 50 years. The grape variety is yet again Tintilia which thanks to the distinct microclimate and altitude of this area, creates the ideal conditions for it to flourish.
